Travertine, Limestone & Sandstone Series

Travertine is a form of terrestrial limestone deposited around mineral springs, especially hot springs. It often has a fibrous or concentric appearance and exists in white, tan, cream-colored, and rusty varieties. It is commonly used for façades, wall cladding, and flooring. Indoor projects include floors, showers, kitchens, and decorating walls and ceilings. Outdoors, travertine is used for driveways, pool decks, patio areas, walkways, and facades.

Limestone (calcium carbonate CaCO3) is a type of carbonate sedimentary rock which is the main source of the material lime. It is composed mostly of the minerals, calcite, and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of CaCO3. Limestone is mainly used outdoors such as entryways, steps, and paving for patios are all popular options.

Most sandstone is composed of quartz or feldspar (both silicates) because they are the most resistant minerals to weathering processes at the Earth’s surface. Like uncemented sand, sandstone may be any color due to impurities within the minerals, but the most common colors are tan, brown, yellow, red, grey, pink, white, and black. As a lasting, reliable exterior to homes and buildings. Decorative pillars, balustrades, fountains, sculptures, monuments, and tombstones. Underfoot from roads to driveways, walkways, pool surrounds, and garden paths due to its ability to withstand heavy traffic.
